Messrs Young, Hobbs and Co. report :
At Stratford on Wednesday. 19th, we again had to face unfavourable wether, which prevented some lines from coming forward. However, all cattle showing quality met with ready competition, and yearlings sold at improved rates. We quote: — Two-year heiicrs in calf 50s. fresh cows £2 los. store cows £1 17s 6d to £2 ss, eighteenmonth heifers £1 8s 6d to 30s, yearling steers 32s to £2 , good mixed threequarter steers 355, weaner heifers /s 6tl to 17s 6d, yearling bulls £1 Gs to £2 10s.
