Following is the Taranaki junior representative team to travel to Aunckfand: —Ryan, Taylor (Waimate), Winters (Kaponga), Hellier T Maslin, >facdonald, Robinson (Eltham), McAUum, Stohr, McGiven, Stannering (Tukapa), McLaren, Pearce, W. Lowe (Star), and Koru (Okaiawa). . '
In the event of the projected tour of the Dominion by a team to play under Northern Union rules being accomplished, Southland should have a strong team. The following thirteen are likely to make the trip : Backs, Fraser, Hanna (Southland representative team, 1906), Beaton, Reid (South Island, 1907), Sherbourne, Forde, Burgess (New Zealand, 1905); forwards: Hughes (New Zealand, 1908), Robinson (Southland, 1908), Clark (South Island, 1907), Stewart (Manawatu, 1908), Hamilton (New Zealand, 1908), Leydon (Otago University, 1908).
