By Electric Telegraph. — Copyright.

SYDNEY, August 17

A boat from the missing . Hawea landed on the south of Solidary Island, near tho Clarence River.

The island is not connected by telegraph, but signals state, that the boat was in charge of the chief officer, and left the Hawea on August 10, in latitude 29.15 south and longitude 154.57 east. The captain requested immediate assistance, as he feared the vessel would drift on the reefs northward of Lord Howe Island. The chief officer states that the vessel's longitudinal position is probably affected by the recent southerly gales. The occupants of the boat landed greatly exhausted. j
