HAWKE'S BAY TEAM.

NAPIER, August 18.

The Hawke's Bay representative hockey team left this morning to play the following matches: — On Wednesday, Manawatu, at Palmerston North ; Thursday, Wanganui, at Wanganui; and Saturday, Taranaki, at New Plymouth.

The following will play for New Plymouth en Thursday in the match with Carrington Road : — Goal, Crawford ; backs, Avery and Strang ; halves, Maunder, Nicolt t and Turnbull ; forwards, W«kkl, Keid, Ambury, Fagan, and T. P. Anderson. The following will play for Inglewood against Kia Ora on Thursday next at Inglewood commencing at 2.45 p.m.: — Goal, M. King; back, H. \faiby, E. Harris; halves, H. Curtis. •">. Wara, C. Reed; forwards, Jas, rlarris, J. Allen, G. Reed, A. Hppson, J. Harris. The Hawke's Bay touring team .has undergone several changes on account of some of the players originitly selected being unable tb obtain leave.
