i(lteceived August 15, 8.43 a.m.) • CONSTANTINOPLE, August 15. Remarkable scenes were witnessed at Beyrout, where Christians and Moslems jointly celebrated the now ..regime. There were frequent reiterations of the sentiment of the brotherhood of Moslems and Christians, who, it was urged, should henceforth live together in peace.
