N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE REPORT.

The Newi Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report as follows : — At Kakaramea on the 22nd inst there was a moderate yarding, bidding was fairly brisk most lines changing hands, prioes being about on a par with late quotations. , At Opunake on the 25th there was a. good yarding and a fair attendance. Store and fat cows and young stock sold readily, but the demand' for male cattle was not keen. At Eltbam on the 26th cattle were yarded in, usual numbers. The sale was well attended with' a good demand for all classes bidding was spirited and most lines found purchasers at prices slightly 1 in advance of late quotations. At Hawera on the 28th there was an average yarding of both battle and sheep and a good attendance of buyers with a fair demand for both, sheep and cattle.
