WELLINGTON SESSION.
WELLINGTON, May 22. At the Supreme Court to-day, John Sidney Hines, charged with stealing £115 from a deaf mute named DavicU Sutherland, was found guilty of receiving the money knowing it to have been stolen. B[e was sentenced to nine months' imprisonment. Frank' Halliinen, charged with assaulting a woman with criminal intent at Dannevirke, wag found guilty and sentenced to five years'.
