HORSE AND MOTOR CAR IN COLLISION.
MARTONi Aj>r r iM4. . A serious motor accident/ occurred yesterday. While Mr, Lynn McKelvie's motor car with seven occupants was going home from Bulls sale some distance beyond Parewanui, school a horse jumped from a fence and came in collision with it. The car was capsized and all the occupants more or less severely injured. Dr. Watson was telephoned for, and Dr. Martin, from Palmerston, arrived shortly after. An ambulance was % sont for. Two of the sufferers were taken to the Palmerston Hospital, vthe others being attended to on the spot. Among the occupants of the car besides L. McKelvie, . were Messrs Amon (2), J. Sim, Atkinson and two others. Mr Sam Amon had his thigh broken and Mr Bert Amon had his ankle broken. The others 'escaped more lightly injured. The car was badly injured and the horse was killed*
