We quote : — At Opunake — Weaners (mixed) 15s to 18s 6d, weaner steers (good) 235, empty heifers 295, yearling steers £2 Is, 18-months steers £2 3s 6d to £2 10s, 2-year heifers in calf 335. 2£-year do. £2 10s, springing heifers £i ss, fat cows £3 lls to £4 18s, forward cows £2 15s to £3 3s, store cows £1 14s to £2 os, bulls 36s to £3, store pigs 12s 6d. At Eltham — Weaner steers 18s to 21s, mixed weaners 10s 6d to 14s, 12 to 10-months steers 31s to 395, empty heifers 26s to 31s, springing heifers £3 10s to £3 17s 6d, fat heifers £3 8s to £3 15s, .fat cows £3 18s to £4 ss, forward cows £3 3s to £3 12s, store cows £2 8s to £2 15s, bulls £3 19s to £5.
