Webb and Tresidder put in their" usual training to-day. <' Webb was afloat at 6 a.m. and traversed the whole course, the greater portion at a fair pace. His sculling was particularly clean. , \ Tre"sidder tipped the beam to-day at ' 12st. 101 b. He went over the course twice to-day. He does not believe in trials over the whole course. He limits his work to fairly hard spins. On Sunday and Monday he will practice sprinting. He is confident that, he will bo, able to wre.st the championship from Webb.
