I Germany has agreed to submit to arbitration a dispute between the Portuguese Government" and Prince Ho]b«iilohe in connection with a proposed |&natorium at Madeira. A German syndicate, with Prince Hohenlohe as president, obtained a concession to build a sanatorium at i Madeira on conditions such that the syndicate would prjlctically have had control of the Island. Aathe result, of an agitation by British business men at Madeira, the concession was cancelled. ; Tho syndicate claimed damages for the cancellation.
