EGG-LAVING.
NORTH ISLAND COMPETITION. . The twenty-fourth week of the competition promoted by the North Island Egg-laying Competition Association, i Ltd., Cambridge, was concluded on Friday, October 18th, 1907. The number of eggs laid during the week was 2284, being an average of 27.85 eggs per pen. The total number of eggs laid since May Ist is 37,674. The highest layings for the week were t— D.
