Messrs Jenkins, Matthews & Pigott report : — We had a big muster of cattle at our Urenui yards on Monday and most lines changed hands. We quote: — Pigs — Slips Bs, breeding sow and 3 porkers 50s, mixed yearlings 31s 6d, 15-months steers 47s 6d, 2-year steers 63s 6d, empty heifers 39s 6d to 435, 3year steers 60s to 87s 6d, springing heifers 60s to 97s 6d, ditto cows 80s, store cows 54s to 70s, bulls 56s to 68s 6d. At Waitara, on Tuesday, yearling heifers realised 19s 6d, yearling steers 42s 6d, 18-months heifers 365, store' cows 50s to 52s 6d, springing cows 61s to 695, dairy cows and calves 85s, old cows 1,9s to 38s.
