Brookman, of Western Australia, delivered an address before the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce on cotton growing and wool growing in Western Australia. Sir Alfred Jones recommended the establishment txf Agricultural banks in £rdcr to finance planters and purchase the cotton grown. Evidently ho said, there tfas a good opening in, Australia for young Englishmen with capital.-
