THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM.

Following is the team to represent Australia against the New Zealanders on Saturday next: — Full back, Dix; three-quarters, Parkinson, .Russell, Smith, and Messenger; halves, Woods and Mandible ; forwards, Oxlade, Oxenham, Barnett, Burge, Caniffe, Fihelly, Flanagan and Richards.
The selector, Mr H. Stocker, has chosen the following junior players to represent the Northern division against the Southern division at Stratford on the Bth prox: — Full back, J. Collins (Stratford); three-quarters, Stohr (Tukapa), Brown (Stratford), Johnson (Eltham); five-eight, Morey (Tukapa); half, Weller (Star) ; wing fprwards, A. Pearce (Star), Curtis (Inglewood) ; forwards, C. Brown (Star), Maslin (Eltham), McKoy (Star); Morris (Tukapa), Tichbond (Stratford), v Bpnner (Stratford), C. Pearce (Star).
Emergency hacks: first J. Finn (Tukapa); second' H/ Cameron (Stratford) ; forwards : first W. Newlove (Eltham), second C. Copestake (Ingiewood).
