LIGHTHOUSE IN DANGER.
ISLAND CRUMBLING AWAY.

The Marine Department has received a report from the lighthouse-keeper on Penguin Island, Rivoti Bay, that thisland is crumbling away through the erosion of the sea, at tho rate of four inches a month. Heavy landslips are occurring.
