Per (Press Association. BLENHEIM, July 1. The body of WilHam Prestons, ; thie man missing since May 9th, was found yesterday by.two young men. who were on the lagoons at Vernon. The- body was found near the place where the unfortunate man's hat was recovered four weeks ago. A mystery is cleared-up. AUCKLAND, July 1. / David Adams, a flaxmill hand, wag playing with.a dog at Mercer, when a rifle he was holding was discharged. The bullet, entering the armpit, caused injuries which ended fatally when the man was being ponveyed by train to Auckland IJospital. # TB.AROHAj.JuIy 1. A young mafi named '^Snine was shooting in the Piako Swamp, when a gun went 6S. ' Shine, who received the charge in his thigh, was attended by Dr. Kennedy and ordered to Hamilton Hospital.
