The following 'simple cure for rheumatism has been forwarded to us by a Wairarapa resident who was incapacitated for years oefqre trying this remedy : "Drink, first thing in the morning and the last at night before retiring, a cup of very warm water, into which has been dissolved as much Epsom salts as will cover a sixpence. Next bathe the affected parts with a hot solution of sulphur and water (teaspoonful to about a quart of water), and while the limb is still steaming, wrap it in lint or thidk white rag, thickly spread' with Bee Ointment.. Cover the whol» with absorbent wool and bandage firmly. On no account must there be any rubbing, but the treatment must be repeated thrice daily until the pains have entirely disappeared." ' Bee Ointment contains medicinal qualities similar to those at the Rotorua springs, and that is why it has been found to be such an efficacious remedy for rheumatism and similar ailments.
