Ralph's mine alone last quarter lost .thirty- days- work owing to the want of waggons. Locomotives ought to be built in the colony. The 'Advances to Workmen was advocated, and tb;e Land Bill yvo€ criticised as in previous speeches. Mrlkiassey said Franklin electors had ,Sffeopd .-by him so well that he could not lesert that' constituency, though hehad been requested to contest Waikato.
