A verdict of not guilty iigainst Christopher Ryan was returned on a charge of stealing a gold watch and £7 at Halcombe on April 1. Brosnaghan, charged with obtaining £5 from T. C. Keeting at Dinton by means of false pretences, was found guilty, and remanded for sentence till to-morrow. .Accused sold a chain represented to be gold, wliich was Hall-marked, and was only worth Is 3d. • ,
