PAHJATUA, June 11. The County Council passed a resolution protesting against the manner in which valuations of land are made, and alleging that they are too frequent. It .£!?„. . assented- that prices were being forced to fictitious values by speculators that valuations v/ere based on the results of then- operations to the detriment of legitimate farmers.
