RAHOTU.
(Fhom Ottr Own Correspondent.) ; i We have had a lot of rough weather! the last week, which is causing the milk at the local dairy factories to go off f,ast. Now the election is over we might have better weather. Mr Okey, M.H.R., will surely do something for us in this maiter. , At Mr King's sale on Thursday congratulations to Mr Okey were the order of- the day. Some of the "cookies" -are wondering who is going to buy their calves when Mr Okey is away in Wellington on Parliamentary business. Perhaps some of the 'Government men will do a line in calves to make up for their, loss over 4;he election. The proprietors of the Crown Dairy Company met the suppliers on Thursday to discuss the question of butter versus cheese. There was a good muster of suppliers, and they all seemed to be in favour of the company keeping to butter owing to the cheese market being so very irregular. <
