The best gallop by a Cup candidate was done by Dividend* who covered two miles in 3.47£. In connection with the Inglewood Hack, Race; meeting, from a financial point of view, it has. .realised the committee's 'anticipations, i Four bookmakers paid the stipulated fee (£2 2s), and seemed to do good business. One gratifying feature was that the racing was clean and fr.ee from any serious accidents, although there were three or four spills. The committee intend to greatly improve the course before any more racing is done on it.
