GOOD FRIDAY SPORTS.
AN OBJECTION.
(Per Press Association.) , CHRISTCHURCH, March 26. By 5 to 3 the Canterbury Amateur Athletic Association refused permission (to the Christchurch Cycling Motor Club to place three amateur running events on the Good Friday programme. There was objection to any sports on that day, which the chairman said was the holiest day in the year.
