INVERCARGJLL, March 21. Ah unknown man, aged abdut 70 years, fell, amongst some milk-cans on the railway station this evening; and was picked up", -bat died before a doctor arrived. Deceased held a -ticket for Fairfield.
DUNEDIN, March 21. Particulars 1 of, a drpwning fatality just to. hand show that Mr Sandilands was returning to Balclutha from, a yisit to Kaitangata in a ; single buggy with his wife and child, of 20 months, when the vehicle fell over a steep bank on the navr ( ov\r- road into, the river, and the three, were drowned.^. ..In, the buggy w,ere found two bottles, .of, wh.isly^ip a brown paper parcel. The ,couple were aged about 35, and; had been a year in Balclutha, and formerly belonged to Dunedin. Sandilands was linfortunately addicted id drink. AUCKLAND, March 21. A man named William Aiiesbonde fell IJS feeJtftotV^sctcfftild at Calliope Dock to-day, receiving, internal -injuries, the extent of whlich are riot yet known. March 21. Mt Sharp, a traveller for the Phoenix Company, died in the Jiospital to-night from fracture of the skull through a ! collision between a horse he was riding and a horse and buggy. % GISBORNE, March 22. Andrew Shara V death was the/.retfult of his horse bolting, while approaching a trap going in the same direction.
