EXTENDING IRRIGATION AREA. United Press Association — By Electric 'Telegraph.— Copyright. (Received March 22, 9 a.m.) CAIRO, March 21. With a view to irrigation one and ahnlf times greater in area than at present it is proposed to add nineteen and a-half feet to the height of the Assouan Dam, Egypt, at a cost of a million and a-half. It is feared the templos of Philoe will bo completely submerged. :
