Jenkins, Matthews and Pigott report : We had a fair muster of cattle at our TJrenui yards on Monday. Competition was keen and nearly every line was sold either at, the hammer or privately. F.M. ewes- made '7s, calves 17s, 18months steers 42s to 455, ditto heifer 2tss 6d to 275, two-year heifers SO?, stow* oows 37s to 48s, fat cows up to £4, cows and calves 51s, pony 595.

At Waitara on Tuesday we had a small entry and buyers were sca*rce. Calves made up to 20s, yearling steers 31s, springing heifers 60s to 62s 6d, ditto cows up to £4 9s, bulls to 40s.
