STANDARD OIL TRUST METHODS.

The world's most noteworthy trust is the Standard Oil Company. Its ramifications are world-wide in extent. Australia comes within its grasp, and for years the bulk of , the < kerosene sold in these markets has.been the product of the Trust. The celebrated pipe line of the Standard Company is declared jto be not of natural but rather an artificial advantage inasmuch as competitors have been unable to lay down similar lines owing to opposition on the part of the railways which control the right of way.
