ADDINGTON MARKETS. JPer Press Association. Ghristchurch, January 9. Store sheep. — Light lambs brought 6s 6d to 8s 9d, and a special line sold ar 12s sd ; wethers were hard to sell at any price. Fat Larabs.— Prime freezers made 15s to 18s 3d, medium 12s 6d to 14s 6d, light 9s to 12s. Fai Sheep.— (Prime wethers made 18s to 22s tfd, lighter 15s 3d t o 17s 6d, prime ewes to 16s Id, medium 12s to 14s, aged and inferior 1 7s to 11s 6d. •Fat cattle.— Steers brought £5 17s €d to £9 17s/ 6d, heifers £4 17s 6d to £7 17s Gd, cows £4^ 5s to/ £6 ss, equal to 15s to 22s per lOOlbs. Stoire and dairy cattle. — The entries in these classes of stock were large, but there w a s practically no demand, and sales were effected at exceptionally low rates, a' go«d proportion being 'passed . m.
