BOROUGH RESERVES.
The following recommendations of the Reserves Committee were adopted by the Council on Thursday : — 1. That the Engineer be authorised to immediately eradicate the ox-eye daisies and blackberries from the Council's portion of ' the old waterworks reserve. . 2. That the l Taranaki Stock Exchange be permitted to. have use of the ' Council • Chamber daily' from 10.30 to 11 a.m," for the sum : of 10/per month. ■ 3. That the Foreman be instructed to cut the oats and hay in the'eemetery paddock, such portion as may be required by the borough to be stacked in the borough yards, and the balance to be stacked in the cemetery paddock and sold. ' . 4. That the matter of the growth i of ox-eye daisy on the Ngaire Reserve . be left in the committee's hands, with power to. act.
