CENTRAL' SCHOOL.

School'" Comniittee/were on the &tag>e, and when the Education Board adijourned some of the members , Morton, Tisch, A'diam and Trimble) were^. also present. The prisses wore presented by Mr W. A. The capitation grant given 'by the Educations Board was .only- enough eessary works at the school,/ ,^and tne credit for the prizes waa wholly due to the parents and touchers ' wid r had put: forth great efforte .j,tp^ make/ the bazaar the success it was. As.% fdrtlher result of that bazaar' it was intended to make improvements afr the school. The playground- was, tobe* asphalted and it was Intended *to. erect a bathing pool in the Recreation Grounds for thelusebfpupils.lt was expected that this , would- be rqady for use when the .school' reopened. •■ , :.
