The 'business of the company again sfljows a satisfactory 'increase. During the year milk has been purchased to the value of £28,906 lg/8, weighing 18.353;Q501b5, as against last seaaon's purchase, of £20,386 10/6, weighing 14,320,228ft5. The increased output of butter amounted to 72 tons 19cwt • ltjr lOlbs. From the 18,353,6501bs of tnllk delivered during the year there was manufactured 789,1 06lbg of 'butter, which averages 23.25ft>s of milk to lib ol butter. The overrun for the season has been 11.25 and the cost of manufacture 1.26 d per Ib of butter. The profit and los 6 account showed! that £28,900 12/8 had been paid for tnilk. Butter sold in London brought in I £31,912, and sold in New Zealand £3,- j 249. There is a credlit balance of £32? to be carried forward. The urfca'tiemieint of 'assets and liabilities -showd a surplus of £329 after wr^n^ off " 7* per pent, off all buildiners and plants.
