Pair Preas Association. AuckTand, August 13. Jerome Furlong, a young men charged with attempted suicide, was acquitted. He admitted that ho shot himself with a revolver, but stated he was trying the spring when it exploded, and he got the whole charge in the neck. The statement first pade tbat a man had fired at him was faJse.
