Paris, May 25. Floridec, a sugar planter, was supposed to have been kille/d' during the Mont Pelee eruptions. His brother and sister, residing at Mantes, believing him dead, inherited his fortune, but he has now returned to 'Nantes, and declares that he* went to 'Melbourne" after • the eruption, unld then amassed a fortune in blockade-run-ning at Port Artlhur.
