T?ie v %uit sectional committee objected to" grading and branding of fruit, . holding that it would injure ihe export trade, grading always tendiug, especially in a full market, in favour of the buyer, and against the producer and exporter^; With reference to apples, some markets prefer large, while othtirs desire . small fruit. Another feature of the trade was that size was ,no guarantee of quality.
