20/4, others 16/ to 17/9 ; prime heavy ewes 16/ to 18/8, extra to 20/,
medium 13/ to 15/6, aged 10/ to 12/6 j merino wethers, 10/2 to 11/6. • Fat cattle. — Seven steers from .Ur W. 0. Rutherford ' (Montrose) inuiJe £7 12/6 to £9 2/G, ; steers brought £5 17/6 to £9 2/6, heifers £4 15/ to
£0 17/6, cows £4 17/6 to £6 10/,
£6 17/6, cows £417/6 to £6 10/, eqtual to 20/ to 23/ for prime, and 16/ to 19/ for inferior to medium per 1001 b.
Veal calves sold at 7/6 to 40/.
Store Cattle.— Fifteen to eighteenmonths' local cattle 39/ to 49/, 2year steers £2 18/ to' £3, 3-year steers £4 2/6 to £5, 3-year h'edfers
$1 5/ to £5 5/, a Kaikoura line oi 3-year steers £3 17/6 to £5 12/6, 3 and 4-year steers £6 12/. Dairy cows wore a moderate lot, and sold o t £i to £7 17/6.
