Wellington/ Dec. 2. • The following seven candidates ■ have been nominated 'for the Western Maori electorate :— He'nafe 'Kaihau, • fir- \ uera Te Kahu, Hamiora Mangakahin, j Tc Heuheu Tukino, Pitiera Taipuh, Hare Teimana, Te Heraroa Kingu , Ohtistchurch, Decdmber i 2.The following five" have 'been nominated for th<e Soirtbern Maori electorate :— Tame Parata, Wiwi Taiaroa, John Hopere, Wharewiti Uru* Tuitu, and! Maketanara Hoan-a jitafou. Taumarunui, December 2. ' Mr Jennings finished his addresses m -the King Country yesterday, winding up at Waitangiraurau mill, which concluded .six addresses in one day— namely, Piriaka, Manunui, Matapuna, Laird's, and Lovett's mills. Tn five out of the six places confidence was ' expressed in hiiix 1 and appreciative references, made of his past Services. He I returns by steamer from Manukau j cm Sunday, after completing- 'the whlolo I of his electorate in- one month's time.
