Cattle. — At the 1 Spring sale of store cattle at Eunciman, on Wednesday, w« yarded 1000 head of good quality, and ■with few exceptions all were sold at the hammer/ Prices were lower than last season from 10s to 20s per head. Grown steers from £6 to £6 }6s, three to four year steers £4 17s to £6 ; two to three years up .to £5 14s ; calves at late values ; dry cows £2 10s to £4. At Tlemuera on .Thursday a full muster of dairy stock cows at profit sold up to £7 5s ; dry cows to £4 3s ; fat and young calves sold freely, small to 18s, heavy to £2 11 s; 102 sold. An average yarding of fat cattle sold Ireely throughout at recont quotations, steers ranged from £7 2s ftd to £11 17<3,6d ; cows £0 10s o £8 15s; 257 '501d. The sheep pens Iwere well filled with a good class of mutton, best, wethers selling to 35s sd, lighter weights to 255, heavy ewes to 30s 3d, others to 235, hoggeis to 19s Gd, 1300 sold; spring lambs 12s to 19s, 995 sold. Pigs were in modes:-' ate numbers and required, small selling to 15s, porkers to 355, baconers to £3 19s ; 64 sold. • '
