Gold and Silver.
Per Press Association. *. Wellington, Aagust 2. The Iquantity of gold exported .from the colony last month was 42,905 dunces, valued at £172,896,* as compared with ,48,013 ounces, valued &£ £180,027, in " the corresponding- month! of last year. The gold exported for the seven months of the present year was valued at £1,184,129, or £19,983 less than for. the first seven months of last year. The value of silver exported last lrionth was £12,523.
