S.M. Court.
At the 5.31. Court ori Friday Phillip Eva sued his two brothers, Harry Eva and William Eva, for contribution towards his support, and an order was made for the payment of 2s 6d per week against each deft ndant. '- The SM. gave judgment on Monday in the claim made by Boon Bros, against Watt and Lewnon, for £17 2s Cd, value of wire gauze window blinds and for subsequent alterations. Defendant Lennon contested an the ground that he was not a partner v.hen the order --was given.. The -S.M.upheld the view and nonsuited plaintills. Judgment was given, however, against defendant for 7s (sd, value of alterations made on a subsequent date. As Watt, the other defendant, was ■ not served the Magistrate said hi! would not give judgment against him individually in the action. Mr Aw&erson appeared for the .plaintiff arid Mr Quilliam the defendant. The civil action of George Cliff and Grecnaway v. Joseph West., claim £50 damages, in connection with defendant's neglect to fulfil a covenant to repair fences of certain lands he had on lease- from plaintiffs, was continued on Monday morning. -Evidence was given on both sides, counsel addressed the Court on legal points, and judgment was reserved. 'Mr Anderson was for plainlifFs and Mr Grey for defendants.
