(From Our Own Correspondent.) At the. Borough Council meeting, harbour matters were discussed. The Mayor said that no doubt the Councillors were aware that the Council's representatives l^nr' moved for a reorganisation of the Harbour Board st^iff. He wanted to know if the steps that were being taken has the approval of the Council. He believed residents were tired of the existing state of affairs. Cr. Brabant moved I'll at the Council thoroughly endorses the action of the Council's nominee* on the Harbour ' Board. Cr. Tate thought it would not be right to pass such a resolution binding the hands of me membero. jH* quite agreed with what the Mayor had said, but thought they should not go too fast. After further discussion, the Mayor said he was glad the members had discussed thri matter thoroughly. Their ideas were far more drastic than his own. Cr. Dugdale said that he did not go into any public body to consider one person, but to- benefit fcEe place.
