A sensation was caused at the Supremo Court by a life sentence being imposed by Judge .Edwards on VicT-

tor Henry Simon onds, a sailbr, who pleaded guilty to two charges of an unnatural ofience on boys.

Tho Jirdge, addressing the prisoner, said : "This is one of the most a,w£jil offences that has ever come under my notice. ,You are absolutely unfit to bft at large, or to live.
