At tiho Court. Percy "VTbittal, alias do Courcoy, alias the Earl of Northesk, was committed for trial on "five charges of forging cho'.fues for sums of .C 250, £30, £140, £1, and c-ne for CIOO. In the case witnesses stated that accused introduced himself to a business firm as Captain do Courcey. lie, however. signed,thc choqlves "Radnor," explaining that de Courcey was his family name. The cheques alleged to bo forged amounted to £531, but only one for £1 is alleged to have been cashed.
