,MR TAYLOR'S STATEMENT.
Per Press Association. Christchurch, May, 19.
In reference to the charge of the seduction of a girl in a factory, Mr Taylor states that the (proprietors of the factory in which the offender was employed have discharged him. Jt is understood that the proprietors first intended suspending the offender tnl December, but Mr Taylor would not accept this compromise.
