jt'«r Tress Association. Dunedin, March 17. Another constable was snsperided to- > day for having in his possession articles of which he could give no satisfactory account. This makes three suspended and two in custody. The total value of the articles is about £75/ jand includes rugs, stationery, brushes,; (wines, spirits^ etc., outside the articles taken from. the D.1.C., for which two men are under arrest. . None of the articles have been identified, and the' police intend to exhibit them in a room on Monday in the hope offin'ding the owners. There is at present no reason for supposing anyone outside' tho force was concerned in the matter. |
