Farmers' Union.

CARRINGTON ROAD BRANCH. The annual meeting of the branch was held in the Upper Mangorei Schoolroom on Wednesday evening last. The attendance was exceptionally good, and, judging from keen interest shown in the business brought before the meeting, there seems every likelihood that the affairs of 'the branch have taken a decided turn for the better. f It was decided that the election of officers and also remits to provincial Conference be adjourned to a special meeting to be held in the Carrington I Road school-room on Wednesday evenjing next, when it is hoped there will [be a full attendance.
