The following results of the 190-1 scholarship examinations were submitted to the meet ing of the Taranaki Education Board to-day :— Senior -—Alfred 11. Grant (Stratford), G8.3 per centage ; Robert R. Tyrer (Stratford), 67.8 por centagc ; Annie C. Noble (High School, .New Tlymouth), 67.7 por centagc; John N. iiullard (High School, Now Plymouth), 02.(5 per centage ; George AY. Bollingcr (High School, New Plymouth), 51) .7 por° centagc; Margaret J. Cameron (Stratford)', 59 per centagoj Klvina C. I'irayshaw (Stratford), 57.3 per centa.<rer, r tlios. S. ITarlo [.High School, New' Plymouth), 57.2 per cent ; Arthur J. JJealy (High School; New Plymouth), 57.1 per cent;, Isabella A. Bunyan (Stratford), 55.2 per cent ; Maud K. Rowe (ifigh School, New Plymouth), 51.5 per cent ; liobcrt M. Y'otmg (Okato), 51.1 per cent; Edgar M. Blundell (Central), 50. 0 per cent. There were four candidates disqualified owing to their not having obtained the required 50 per ccntago o»E marks. Junior : Mary F. C. Dowling (West End), 85 per cent ; Ernest W. Kirkby (No-airc), 74.7 per cent. .; George A. Hudson (Stratford), 65.2 per cent ; Arthur M. Fowler (Stratford), 64.2 per cent ; George 31. Davis (Toko), 52.8 per cent. Ten candidates failed to secure the required 50 per cant, of marks. Messrs W. E. Spencer and W. A. I3allantyne were the examiners. It was decided that tho following successful candidates be granted scholarships for a term of two years (tenable at the New "Plymouth High School) :— Mi<s Mary Dowling (junior). .C 10; Miss Annio Noble (senior), £35 ,; Master John Billiard (senior), £10 ; Masfi-r Georce Bol linger (senior), CS 13s.
