Nominations to be in the hands of tho Secretary by SATURDAY, JANUARY 28th, at 5 p.m. HANDICAPS to bo declareo on FEBRUARY 6th. Acceptances close on MONDAY, FEB. 13th, at 5 p.m. RULES AND REGULATIONS, l.r- The winner of any race .may be subjected to a re-handicap before starting in another race at this meeting. 2>— No nomination or entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the necessary amounts. 3^— All races to be run under the N.Z. Rules of Racing as near as possible. 4.— A1l riders to pay a fee of 5s towards Accident Insurance Policy, to be taken out by the club. 5, i — Every entry must state the name or assumed name of the owner or owners, the name, age, pedigree, and description of the horse, colours of the rider, and must be accompanied by all necessary fees. C— Protests must be in writing, and must foe lodged in the hands of the Secretary within ten minutes of the declaration of the Judge's decision. Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum shall be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Stewards, whose decision shall be final. 7,— The Committee reserves the right to postpone the races should the weather prove unpropitious. p.— The Stewards' decision in all matters shall be irrevocable, and the Club can withdraw or add any race to the programmo if necessary. 9.— A1l Bookmakers Io pay with the Stakes. 10.— Owners may bo called upon to sign declaration that horses nominated or started at this meeting are bona fide.
