The Liao-yang correspondent of La Tribuna (a Rome paper) states that a fourth force has landed at Niu-ch-wang and beon added to General Oku's extreme left. The Japanese number 300,000 with 850 guns. The Berlin journal Lokal Anzeiger's Mukden correspondent says that the Japanese formation is completely soreened behind a line of outposts extending from Chang- tau to Shiwhau, thence re-joining the line at Hsiu-akthun, near Mukden. Two Japanese companies of infantry ascended by junks to Changtan, but were repulsed.
