Cattle.— At Pukekohe. on Monday, dairy cowa sold freely from £7 to £10 1:2/(5. backwai»d springers £5 to £6 15/. yearlings C 2 15/ to £3 10/, strong calves £1 10/ to £2. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy stock at profit were from £5 to £10 10/, store cattle at late values, fat and young j calves, in lull supply, sold freely. Small up to 8/, medium to 18/, heavy to 58/ (78 sold). A moderate yarding of choice beef met with a steady demand at improved rates. Ox beef up to 21/ the 1001 b, cow to 22/, steers ranged from £¥ to £12 17/6, cows £5 to £S 10/. (235 yarded). Sheep were well represented. Good 15/, store 6/6 to 7/G. Pigs, penned owes 10/ to 12/6, fat lambs 9/ to 15/, stote 6/6 to 7/6. Pigs, penned in usual numbers, were without alteration in value.
